Roasted Radishes

radishes
cooking oil
Tahini sauce
chopped parsley

Wash radishes, cut off ends, then slice radishes in half. In a bowl, mix radish halves with enough cooking oil to coat them. (Choose an oil that has a high smoke point like canola, peanut, safflower or avocado.)

Preheat either the oven or air fryer to 400°F.

Method One — Oven Roasted

Add radishes to a cast iron skillet.

Put the cast iron pan with radishes into the preheated oven. Roast, stirring occasionally (if you don’t stir, bottoms may burn), until radishes are tender and very lightly browned, about 40 minutes.

Method Two — Air Fryer

Add radishes to air fryer. Roast for 8 minutes. Then, open the air fryer, stir the radishes, and cook for another 5 minutes.

Serving
When done by either method, put into a serving dish, top with Tahini sauce and chopped parsley.
