Dehydrated Blueberries

Blueberries are too small for the regular Cosori dehydrator racks – they will fall through. So place the berries onto the smaller hole, plastic mesh screen that came with the dehydrator. This then fits on top of a metal rack.
Cook at 135°F for 24 hours.

  • Dried blueberries lose much of their flavor but retain most of their nutritional value.
  • Some instructions recommend “checking” the berries by piercing or blanching but if you cook them for 24 hours, that isn’t necessary. Fresh berries will end up like raisins; frozen blueberries will become crunchy.
  • The Cosori dehydrator comes with only one mesh screen. You can buy additional mesh screens to dehydrate more than one rack of blueberries at a time.
