Pecan Crescent Cookies

1 c. ground pecans
1 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco shortenting, melted
1 c. butter, melted
1 t. vanilla
4 c. flour
1/2 t. salt

Blend together all ingredients. Chill for an hour. Shape into crescents.

Bake at 400*F for 15 to 20 minutes. Roll cookies in confectioner’s sugar while still hot.
